Update June 28, 2010

It's amazing what a good nights sleep will do for a body.  Last night everyone left by 7pm with instructions given to the nurse not to allow any visitors at all.  This morning Corrine was doing so much better.  She was alert and watching TV.  Pain is still an issue but being kept under control.  Corrine was taken for more x-rays today.  They checked to see how her legs, pelvis, and lungs were doing.  Everything is looking good.  In fact her lungs are looking so good that they were able to take her off the ventilator.  Tonight she was looking and doing even better.  She isn't talking a whole lot yet because her throat is sore from the tubes.  But it is good to see Corrine's beautiful smile and hear her voice when she does talk.

I am so glad you have started a blog so we can see how Corrine is doing. I work for the same company as Corrine and I was really impressed by what a sweetheart she is! I knew she was working in our field because she is such a caring person. my co-worker and I in St George are thinking and praying for Corrine and Damon. Be strong Corrine!

Corrine and Family,

Corrine I hope that you remember me Martha Bower, Aunt to the Weilenmann Family.

Corrine I'm very sorry to hear about the accident. I'm truly sorry to hear about your little girl. I wished that you and your family would not have to have this kind of pain.

I know that your family is being blessed with many prayers. I'm thinking about you and will keep in touch. I pray for a complete recovery. God will take care of you. Remember to take care of your spirit and soul while your recovering. Smile Corrine, you are loved.

I do hope that you get this message.

Love
Martha =)

Corrine, we continue to pray with all our might for you and Damon. We love you, and feel such close ties to you. Our hearts hurt, but we are so glad to know you are improving. Bethany, you are doing such a fabulous job of keeping everyone updated and allowing the family to have some "radio silence".

i found this blog through a friend.
I just want to tell you how amazing you, how inpirational you both are, how string you are, how brave you are, and how lucky livi is to be able to call you her parents.
I hope you know that our Father in Heaven gave you this trial for a reason and how he knows you can handle it. Cut little Livi knew this was her path where she chose you as parents and is now filling e bigger calling of her.
You were made to give that sweet little girl a spitit and body which you did.

Stay strong, we're paryaing and thinking about your whole fmaily, ecspecailly you Corinne!
